Versus other maid services: we regularly outperform them. We're more thorough, dependable, and polite. Many of our competitors will charge as little as 2/3 of our price but will spend less than half the man-hours we spend, because they don't thouroughly dust (just edge dust), they don't get behind your toilet, they don't wipe your multi-panel doors, etc. Some of our competitors will not tell you how long they will be in your home. They give you a price per job. This can lead to "corner cutting" in the cleaning quality as time goes on. We don't do this. We tell you how long we will be in your home, and what (specifically) will be done. Versus an individual maid: it depends. We are almost always more thorough. But if you have the perfect individual, you should keep them until they quit the business. Once they've quit, give us a call, because the process of replacing them is going to be very painful. One disadvantage of the individual maid is the amount of time they spend in your home. We can be out of your home in a quarter of the time an individual cleaner takes. Depending on your lifestyle, this can be an important factor in choosing a cleaning service. Another disadvantage of the individual maid - inabiltiy to make schedule changes. If you need to make a schedule change, or they miss your clean due to illness or car problems, you will likely not see them until your next scheduled cleaning day. They have no "reserve cleaning capacity" . We have "reserve cleaning capacity", and can almost always make schedule changes that will accomodate your needs. Churn and Burn: In any 12 month period, about half of the house cleaning companies serving the greater Twin Cities Area at the beginning of the period will be out of business by the end of that 12 month period. Those companies, however, will be replaced by about the same number of new house cleaning companies. Many of those which gave up were companies intent on offering low prices. They tried the normal tactic of trying to balance their cash flow by lowering their service standards, churning customers because their quality was poor, then giving up when they lost their appetite for deficits. Bad service never sells well, and its impossible to sustain anything but bad service for low prices. Out with the old, in with the new. Ultra Care Cleaning Services is here for the long run.
